• IDEA promotes comprehensive dental care for the underserved patients in the greater Spokane area.
   
• The IDEA clinic believes in providing the patient the opportunity to take some responsibility for their care via a sliding fee scale.
   
• The IDEA clinic provides a central outlet for volunteer dentists to donate their time and talents to their patients.
   
• The primary goal of the IDEA clinic is to restore and repair dental needs in a more comprehensive manner, and not just the removal of teeth.
   
• IDEA will work to transition patients into the private practice arena when such opportunity presents itself.
   
• The IDEA clinic will serve as a visible symbol of the Spokane District Dental Society�s and its foundation�s ongoing efforts to give back to the community.
   
• The IDEA clinic�s long term goal is to be a self-sustaining, non-profit organization.
   
• The IDEA clinic reports to the Spokane District Dental Society Foundation, and it�s independent dental leadership, free of any government interference or control.
